GoFullPage2 Privacy Policy

Effective date: August 12, 2026

GoFullPage2 is a browser extension that captures the complete webpage selected by the user and allows the resulting image to be downloaded as PNG or JPG. This policy explains how the extension handles data.

Data handled by the extension

When the user clicks the GoFullPage2 toolbar icon, the extension processes the content of the active webpage, including its visible text, images, layout, and page title, solely to create the screenshot requested by the user.

How data is used

Website content is used only to capture, assemble, preview, and download the requested full-page screenshot. The extension does not use captured content for analytics, advertising, profiling, or any unrelated purpose.

Local processing and storage

All screenshot processing takes place locally in the user's browser. Screenshot segments are stored temporarily in Chrome's local extension storage while the final image is assembled. Temporary capture data is removed after the result is rendered. Downloaded PNG or JPG files remain under the user's control.

Data sharing and transmission

GoFullPage2 does not transmit captured webpage content, page titles, screenshots, or other user data to the developer, external servers, advertising services, analytics providers, or third parties. The extension makes no external network requests.

Remote code

The extension does not load or execute remote JavaScript or WebAssembly. All executable code is included in the installed extension package.

Permissions

User control

Capture begins only when the user clicks the extension toolbar icon. Users control whether to download the resulting image and can close the result tab at any time.

Changes to this policy

This privacy policy may be updated when the extension's functionality or data handling practices change. The effective date above will be revised when an update is published.

The use of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
